So why am I doing this in the first place? Well one could theorize many things. Maybe I just like doing things the hard way. Maybe I'm just an old curmudgeon. (perhaps in spirit, but I am NOT old lmao) Or maybe I just want to feel special. In truth, it's all and none. I've always yearned for a time when the internet was an exciting thing, and when you could just stumble upon interesting things someone made from scratch. That happens now, of course, but on proper social medias, it always feels accidental. It feels like I've stumbled into something human and beautiful in a place designed to addict and depress me. And I saw some videos and thought some things and now I'm here. I'd had a tiny (TINY) bit of experience with HTML before, but it's honestly not that hard. CSS is harder though, making the pages look how I want has been a struggle. Whatever, call me a masochist (not 100% untrue) but I think this is better. I might still put stuff places like youtube, but this is my home now, however small it may be. That is due to change if i keep making things, though. Also I don't think all the pages will be this bland in presentation, I just wanted to do something simple and learn the cool tricks from there.
